The film is completed! Well it is for sound at least. Yesterday the Re-recording Mixer sat with the Director and watched through and did the final tweaks. Just a couple of music level adjustments really at that point, mainly to do with new music cues that got put in to replace other cues yesterday. All the deliverables have been printed out, and now I am just backing up the final mix session and deliverables.
It’s good to feel it has been done, although there is also a small sense of concern that because we were adjusting things right to the very end that we might have missed or messed up something along the way. It’s that thing of a film never really being finished, but you need to let go of it at some point. I really hope it gets an audience and I look forward to watching it at a real screening with an actual audience some time in the near future.
