Kim Williams on Science and the Arts

A couple of months ago there was an ABC Radio National Big Ideas program that presented a talk by Kim Williams on the state of arts in Australia. Williams is a media executive, musician and entrepreneur who has managed large organisations including Musica Viva, FoxTel, the Australian Film Commission and more.

In the talk, which is presented with a music soundtrack, Williams touches on the importance of music in education, the frustrating state of arts policy in Australia, and suggests that we need to be bold. Check it out here:
