I recently stumbled across Slipperman’s Distorted Guitars from Hell again – it’s great reading for music recording and mixing engineers, although can be a bit random and waffling at times. One of the issues is that it was published in a sprawling online format which can be hard to read or come back to. I found that someone nice has turned it into a PDF format that is much easier to deal with, and that you can put on your tablet etc…
