The Sample Rate Conversion Comparison Project hosted by Infinite Wave Mastering is an interesting tool for comparing the quality of sample rate conversion in different audio software. It is interesting to see how much it can vary, although overall, newer versions of most software looks pretty good. For a bad example check out Ableton 7. For a good example check out iZotope.
